Open to close offers on my 1973 MG B GT.
Laid up when I took ill a few years ago, I'm now disabled so even if I could physically get it back on the road, I can't drive a manual any more which sucks as much as it sounds.
It's a restoration project but it has some nice trick parts on it. Interior is stripped with nardi wheel, bucket seats and a roll cage. Exhaust is noisy. It was a really fun car around the lanes - like a little period club racer :)
electric cooling fan (manually operated)
55 amp alternator
Facet black fuel pump
Intake trumpets with PiperCross socks
Electronic ignition in recent new distributor
Alloy rocker cover
Escort panhard rod
500lbs front race springs
Front end poly-bushed
Recent brake callipers
Rear bushes all replaced
One-off exhaust straight through to a cherrybomb rear box
overdrive unit
Please see the photos for condition. The sills are probably the worst bit. The engine was an absolute cracker. Clocks have been replaced at some point so mileage is unknown, guessed to be over 100k.
Will need trailered away but once sorted you'll have a nice little tax, mot, CAZ and ulez-exempt runabout. Plate is ROY 896L which is probably worth a few quid to somebody called Roy or someone who thinks that they're Royal (roy8l? Roy9l? Roy6l?) v5 has been lost but I have ordered a replacement. Located near Berwick, Northumberland.
