1971 Triumph Stag 3.0 V8 Automatic. Triumph White with Black Ambla upholstery, black mohair hood and factory hard top. This beautiful Stag has had thousands of pounds lavished upon it to make it into the beautiful car you see today. Much money has been spent and it really is a credit to its last keeper. Lots of work has been carried out during 2023 which includes a full service, new brake flexi hoses, new brake pads, new rear brake drums, shoes and wheel cylinders. New silicone HT ignition leads, Distributor cap and rotor arm and new spark plugs. The paintwork is striking in its factory white and the chrome work maintaining a great shine in the sun. The seats have been refurbished with new foams and the mohair soft top like new. It has also had unleaded cylinder heads fitted. A Moto Lita steering wheel completes the look of this 70’s classic. The underside of the car equally as good and the Stag although mot exempt currently has a test through to September 2024 without advisories. On test drive when it comes to exhaust notes there is not much to top a V8 and this Triumph does not disappoint, starting on the button the car drives very well, the engine pulling very well and the automatic gearbox smoothly changing gear without hesitation. The rear axle quiet with no gear whines or rumbles, just the lovely roar of the V8 effortlessly working up front. A large history folder accompanies the car containing lots of bills and invoices for many thousands of pounds as well as lots of old mot certificates. In summary this is a very well sorted Stag that is ready to be enjoyed in new hands and start its next chapter.
