This matching-numbers 1970 Oldsmobile 442 coupe is powered by an
Oldsmobile L31 455/365hp engine with a 4-barrel carburetor, mated
to an M21 close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst
shifter and option G80 posi-traction differential with 3.42 gear
ratio. It is finished in special-order code Y62 Aegean Aqua over a
black Strato bucket-seat interior. This 442 was assembled at GM's
assembly plant in s Freemont, CA, and was ordered new from the
Trevellyan Oldsmobile Company dealership in San Diego, CA. As shown
on the Build Sheet as code Y62 Special Paint Change, this 442 was
ordered in Aegean Aqua in tribute to the previous owner's lifetime
of service in the Navy. Options include power steering and power
disc brakes. All drivetrain numbers match and are restored and
original to the car, including carburetor and emissions equipment.
The interior was ordered with the Rally gauge cluster, black bucket
seats with console and Hurst shifter, rear defrost and rear speaker
with deluxe radio, all of which are operational. Documentation
includes a Build Sheet, interior trim Broadcast Sheet and original
dealer service records since September 1970. Also included is the
Protect-O-Plate, warranty and warranty sleeve, owner's manual,
Oldsmobile Consumer Information booklet and original Oldsmobile
