This is a Karmann-built body 912 finished in Sand Beige (Color code

6807); the paintwork is in beautiful condition. Exterior features

include bumpers with chrome guards, a driver-side mirror, a chrome

rocker, a window, and bumper trim. Silver-painted 15" steel wheels

have chrome Porsche hubcaps and are mounted with 165 80 15 Classic

Radial LL800 M+S All Season tires.

The interior features black upholstery, a matching dashboard, door

panels, carpets, and floor mats. The VDM steering wheel with a

butterfly horn button frames the VDO instrumentation with a 7000RPM

tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary

  gauges.

First, delivered to Dr. Gould in New York, New York, in March of

1969, and then it was relocated to Palo Alto, California, by the

2nd owner on January 4, 1971, at 7,140 miles. The 3rd owner was Mr.

Snyder from Fremont, California, who purchased the 912 from a

Mozart dealer. He worked at Intel. From 1, the 912 was

stored in a garage, then sold to Mr. Abedian in 2018; in 2021, the

current owner purchased the 912. Over the next few years, the

current owner had the 912 serviced and maintained by Sports Car

Garage in Palm Desert, California, where the following has been

performed: replace pushrod tubes, install front struts, install

rear shocks, replace axle shaft assembly, replace CV boots,

installed a new clutch, replace engine rear main seal, and replace

transmission seal. European Collectibles has recently rebuilt the

top end of the motor, including new pistons and cylinders, rod

bearings, cylinder heads, pushrod tubes, and a gasket kit.

Mechanically, it is powered by the matching 1.6-liter flat-four

engine (Type 616/40) featuring dual carburetors rated at 102

horsepower with a matching manual 5-speed transmission and

four-wheel disc braking system. Complete with a Porsche Production

Specifications Certificate, a Porsche maintenance booklet

confirming the first three owners, service records, a driver's

manual, and a California title. A fantastic example that is ready

  to enjoy!
