This prototype bike was built by Jim Lee for Ted Wassell at Otley Yorkshire tax and MOT exempt ,It is a Museum piece frame number one prototype. Confirmed to be one of Jimmy Lee’s racing frames by the Jimmy Lee,s racing Forum with a letter of authenticity signed by Peter Edmondson Teds co-partner stating it is a very early Wassell Bantam.This is not one of the three hundred or so kit bantams that were built from 1972 onwards with a frame number W+++B stamped on the head stock .This bike was designed to be lightweight and also road legal .I have the V5 in my name registered as an historic vehicle and lots of documentation . I am open to any sensible offer .
