With us at RFH Classics we have this 1968 (G) MGB GT finished in Damask Red with Black Trim. This an original UK chrome bumper car that although has been the subject of an older restoration still presents very well with a lovely deep shine to the great bodywork. All the chrome is in good condition and the cars appearance is enhanced by the addition of Wire Wheels which in this case are the powder coated variant which are considerably easier to maintain. It isn't common knowledge but the MGB GT was originally designed by Pininfarina, perhaps part of the reason the GT has always remained so popular and stylish even today. Open the door and sit in the driver's seat and you will find the interior of this GT has the original Dimple style vinyl trim to the seats that is in excellent condition as is the rest of the interior with good carpets and trim kit. This car does have the desirable Overdrive that we can confirm after giving the car a good run, works well.

Under the bonnet the 1798cc petrol engine fires into life with great oil pressure both when cold and hot, this is paired to the 4 speed manual gearbox. The engine bay, like the rest of the car, presents very in which is probably one of the most popular colours produced by MG. In the office we have a file containing some history for the car including MOT Tests that date back as far as 1990 and indicate the displayed mileage may be correct although due to the age of the car we are unable to guarantee this.
