Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1967 Porsche 912
non-sunroof coupe. COA, numbers matching engine and transmission,
extensive records going back to the 1980s. 162k miles with fewer
than 30,000 miles on an engine rebuild and one of the best shifting
901s we have felt in a while. Newer Bilsteins, brakes (including
calipers, lines and master cylinder), front-end rebuild, and recent
carb rebuild make for an example that drives particularly nicely.
Present owner of seven years has put approximately 7,000 miles on
this car during his ownership, using it on nice weather days for
spirited drives in the North Georgia mountains.
Older glass-out repaint done to a good standard but showing
starting to show its age with a few flaws here and there - overall
it presents to an acceptable driver standard. We believe all panels
to be original including front pan. Excellent rockers and torsion
bar areas; the floor pans have been replaced at some time in the
past - very clean job but they appear to be aftermarket. Correct
exterior trim including solid-backed chrome front bumper
overriders, Hella headlight covers and engine grille. Date-correct
chrome steel wheels are wearing Vredestein Sprint Classics.
Interior is likewise presentable but showing minor wear consistent
with an older restoration, most notably on the seat bottoms. All
gauges work except for the clock.
If you are looking for an attractive and well-maintained,
short-wheelbase, non-sunroof, five-speed 912 to drive and enjoy
this example warrants a closer look. For more information about
