This is an "A" code car that I bought in September of 2016; one of
only 12,374 Cyclones produced in 1965. The previous owner replaced
the 289 4 barrel carb engine and Borg Warner 4 speed transmission
with later model 302 engine and C-4 automatic transmission. The
clutch pedal is still in car; now has a Hurst Pro-Matic shifter.
The 302 has a Holley 4 bbl carb, Acel ignition, Hooker headers, and
dual exhausts. The black vinyl interior has bucket seats (that have
been re-upholstered) and console. The windshield pillars have been
re-chromed, dash pad replaced, and the headliner is very good with
no sags or wrinkles. Front carpet is worn with some holes while
rear carpet is faded but good. Front and rear windshields are good
as are the side windows and vents. Exterior and interior lights
work. Manual steering and brakes. Some rust in regular places
including rear quarter panels and rocker panels. Has North Carolina
Dept. of Motor Vehicles ID (NCS64561@5T27A526723) because driver
side front fender (with VIN# 5T27A526723) was replaced with new
fender.
