1965 Land Rover Series 2A SWB, mot and tax exempt

Original registration number, galvanised chassis from before I bought it. Owned for 9 years. V5 in my name etc.

Petrol engine was converted to 2.2 BMC diesel engine years ago, common conversion in the 70s.

No time to complete hence sale, currently needs new wiring loom finished off to run. Paintwork is flat due to age but comes up with a shine with a t-cut and polish. Has not run for a few years due to other commitments.

Comes with huge amount of spare parts which would allow for a full restoration, too much to mention. 2 reconditioned diffs, 2 reconditioned fuel pumps, petrol tank, axle case, 4x springs, plates and shock absorbers, full exhaust, reconditioned and nos injectors, spare dash and instruments, gearbox and transfer box, propshaft, radiator, new swivels and parts. There is a lot more to list.

Also have a spare 2.2 BMC diesel engine which is currently seized but might free off otherwise great for parts.

Comes with original Land Rover handbooks, workshop manuals, parts manual etc.

Very reluctant sale.

Will need trailed away and probably a van to collect all the spares.
