Just arrived in stock with us here at RFH Classics we have this stunning example of a 1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III finished in beautiful Two Tone of Brilliant Silver over Royal Blue. The car, which was the subject of a major restoration that was under taken for the previous owner around 4 years ago when they spent in excess of £40,000 on the work which amongst other work included a full repaint and retrim. The Cloud III was first revealed to the public in October 1962 and included the weight being reduced by over 100kg and improvements made to the engine to increase the power available although even in 1965 Rolls Royce were very reluctant to ever disclose overall engine output. Other noticeable changes to the exterior of the car included the a redesigned headlamp layout with the headlights being grouped together and the addition of a RR badge located between the headlamps. Other alterations included the bonnet being redesigned to reduce the radiator grille height, the introduction of wider front seats and the addition of a Silver Cloud III boot badge on the UK supplied cars.

Inside this Cloud III the interior is virtually unworn and finished in a high quality Grey Leather hide that not only covers the seats but extends to the doors also. To compliment the Grey Leather the floors are carpets in a beautiful Blue Wool Carpet and the Dash and tops of the doors are finished in unmarked Walnut Wood Veneers. Under the bonnet the Cloud III is fitted with a 6.2 L V8 engine that in the case of this car is running on Unleaded Fuel, albeit Super in order to avoid the issues related to standard unleaded. The engine is paired to a GM Hydramatic 3 speed Automatic gearbox delivering the power in the smoothest of drive through the rear wheels. In the boot of the car you will find the rarely seen original boot floor mat. Overall the car is in wonderful condition and represents fantastic value for money, a restoration to this standard today would probably be in excess of 2 years work and £60k plus to a good roadworthy car.
