Said to have retained its original paint, interior, top, and
engine, this 76,044-mile 1964 Pontiac Catalina Convertible was
"purchased from the original owner's widow in 1997 by my
father-in-law, who passed away three years ago," according to the
seller, who is listing the car for his mother-in-law."We knew the
original owners and the car via membership in the Central Indiana
Vintage Vehicles, a local car club. It was driven fairly regularly
during dry weather by the original owner, and then my father-in-law
drove it to car shows and to cruise nights and occasionally for
pleasure. It has always been garaged and pampered, and much work
was done to get it back on the road while retaining originality,"
he continues.
