This custom 1957 Volkswagen Beetle ragtop is the recipient of a

　　frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration. It is powered by a brand-new

　　GEX VW air-cooled 1600cc engine with dual Weber carburetors, paired

　　with a manual transmission and a new gas tank. It rides on new

　　suspension and shocks with 15-inch Porsche polished Fuchs wheels

　　and a matching spare wheel and tire. This split-rear-window

　　conversion is finished in fresh light blue paint. The exterior is

　　equipped with all-new chrome bumpers in the front and rear with new

　　chrome trim. The new tan leather interior has white piping, new

　　carpet, matching floormats and a Sony head unit with dual speakers
