I have seen some of the coolest cars ever built, and they were
customized in ways that are no longer common. Take this 1955 Buick
Special, for instance - so many modifications have been made to it
that you would need a stock car beside it to pick them all out.
This car demands attention, even from those who aren't Buick fans.
It's hard to believe that the Tri Fives took off when there are
cars like this with such gorgeous lines. Let's start with the
exterior modifications. The hood has been shaved of all emblems,
and there's a custom cut and molded front bumper. The fenders have
been custom-fitted with 1956 port holes, while the 1963 Pontiac
Grand Prix door handles and 1954 Pontiac Chieftain rear bumper have
been modified. Even the trunk lid has had the emblems and keyhole
shaved. The interior features seats from a '67 Chevelle and a
center console from a '64 Ford Galaxie XL 500. Now, what powers
this mean machine is a very well-built 496 Chevy Big Block that
packs a punch. The motor is paired with a built 700R4 4-speed
automatic transmission, and the power is delivered to the ground
via a Ford 9'' rear end. This car is so badass in person - you have
to come see it for yourself! We appreciate your interest in this
fantastic vehicle, available in our showroom at 5626 Gravois Ave,
St. Louis, MO, 63116. If you have questions, please call
