Gateway Classic Cars of DENVER presents this 1953 Plymouth
Cranbrook. The Plymouth Cranbrook, as a car, was conservatively
styled, designed to allow drivers to sit upright while wearing a
hat. For 1953, the boxy shape was changed for direct lines, with
sleeker and more modern styling. The windshield went to a modern
one-piece unit; and the door handles pulled out instead of
twisting. The glove box was moved to the center for easier access
by the driver. The gas cap was moved to under the trunk lid. This
Cranbrook is powered by a 3.6 liter 6 cylinder mated to a 3-speed
manual (on the tree). Painted Green complimented with a green
interior. This classic rides on airbags and will automatically
enlist you in the cool club. Been in one family for the past 70
YEARS!!!!!
