Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1952 MG
TD Speedster. The seller of this car claims that the car was stored
in Birmingham Alabama since 1970 and discovered in 2009, then was
brought to Florida. Since the discovery the chassis, brakes,
wiring, seats, and engine have all been gone through and refreshed.
This Speedster is comparable to those raced in the 1950's in the
small bore modified class on road courses and hill climbs, per the
seller. Powering this TD is a 1937 Ford Flathead engine that was
rebuilt about 2,000 miles ago, rated at 60HP, and is claimed to
have 200LBS of compression on all 8 cylinders. There is a custom
driveshaft, MGTD Differential, and fabricated aluminum fuel tank
installed into this little Speedster. Walking around this car will
bring you back to the early age of racing! Sporting what is
believed to be 1950's yellow paint with a flat black hood, dual
windshields, dual side exhaust, racing #2 on the doors, and chrome
accents, this TD is sharp! The interior has had some refreshing
done and features red vinyl seats, saddle steering wheel, and white
classic gauges. If you are a MG fan or an early racing enthusiast,
this could be the car for you! This 1952 MG TD Speedster is listed
