1941 Dodge Panel Van My wife and i have traveled extensively in this van to Europe to D-Day in 2019 ,After shipping into Rotterdam from the USA and then through France Germany Holland and Belgium , the Dodge Flathead motor was completely rebuilt and fitted with electronic ignition along with a Randy Rundal 12 volt fuel pump ,that are fitted to vintage rally cars for reliability at 3 psi along with the original fuel pump , the Transmission was completely overhauled and fitted with modern seals etc and is synchro mesh in 2nd and 3 rd and is very easy to drive , the Differential was upgraded to a 3.5 ratio for HI Way driving and on the Auto Barns , for a cruising speed of 60 MPH Radial tires are fitted for safety , the car did approximately 3,500 Miles and averaged around 19-20 MPG doing around 200-300 miles a day in Europe , other than a flat tire we had no trouble except people want to take photos allllll the time , it was a real Hoot , We then shipped out of Rotterdam back to the USA and continued doing more trips here , some more 3 trips across the States , on a maintance inspection last year showed one cylinder to be lower compression than the other 5 , but still drives as normal , Since being completely restored in 2018 prior to the trip to Europe it has done app 20,000 miles overseas and in the USA , it is a lovely car to drive , certainly as a vintage car and never had trouble in traffic even in Paris , the car is set up for camping as we did in Europe and the US and will be removed when sold and leave as it was standard , but till it sells we will leave the camp gear in it as still go away in it , we camped all across Europe and the US
