1941 CHRYSLER HIGHLANDER 2 DOOR COUPE RARE , WITH 99% OF THE TRIM! WITH CLEAN MICHIGAN TITLE! I was told to order a car from Chrysler in 1941, you had to be a Municapality or a Doctor. As a result Chrysler produced less than 1500 Windsor body style cars in 1941 and very few were 2 doors and even fewer were Highlanders. It has the red marbled bakelite dash and the blue plaid and leather seats (seats were exclusive to the Highlander). The front turn signals, that cannot be found anywhere are both in the car. As far as I know the only trim missing is part of one taillight and one hubcap. Most of the trim will have to be polished or rechromed. But the fact that so much of it is still there is a miracle in of itself! It was a restoration project by the second owner. I am only the third owner. It is my understanding it was purchased new by a doctor in Escanaba, Michigan. The previous owner rebuilt the engine, but had never started it afterwards, so I cannot atest to whether or not the engine runs.. This car will need a full on inside out restoration
