Described as having been a California car since new, and to be
highly original except for an older repaint, this 1927 Buick
Standard Six Country Club Coupe is one of 6,555 such models
produced that year. The current seller recently bought this Buick
on Hemmings Auctions but needs to sell to make room for other
vehicles he has added to his stable. Prior to that purchase, the
car had been under the same ownership since 2012, with the Buick's
previous owner reportedly buying the car in 1946 and having
repainted it in a correct factory color an estimated 50 years ago.
The Buick's interior and wood spoke wheels are believed to be
original to the car. The engine is also believed to be original,
with the seller noting that the Buick is equipped with a golf bag
compartment that opens on the passenger's side of the vehicle. With
"nice looking paint," and "very minimal" outside imperfections, the
Buick is reported to have "very little" rust.
