Communication and Events Administrative AssistantHarwell – Remote/Hybrid/In Office (3 days a week in the office, 2 days a week WFH)GBP40,800 per annum12–month initial contractA fantastic opportunity for a Communication and Events Administrative Assistant to join my client at their offices in Harwell. Providing assistance to the team with planning, coordinating and executing a wide range of employee events. This will involve collaborating with the senior management to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment. Scheduled hours of work are from Monday–Friday –9:00–17:00, 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.Daily Tasks Include: Collaborate with the senior management and the Head of Establishment to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages interaction, collaboration and knowledge sharing among community members and addresses employee concerns which contributes to a dynamic and agile work environment. Plan, coordinate and execute a wide range of employee events, including team building activities, networking events, workshops, training sessions, social gatherings, sports and recreation activities to encourage a positive and inclusive ECSAT corporate culture in close collaboration with Facility Management for both the on and offline community. Support facilitating effective communication and information dissemination among employees, fostering a sense of engagement, alignment with company goals and values and a positive workplace culture. Support in promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization. Support developing and implementing strategies to create an inclusive workplace. Support strengthening the relationship with Harwell Campus by fostering social interactions and activities. Stay updates on industry trends and best practices to implement innovative strategies. General Tasks: Support organising events such as conferences, workshops, presentation to stakeholders. Support the organisation of internal communication activities and coordinate all of TIA–T related communication activities. Work in close coordination with the TIA Communication Officer ensuring accurate and timely input. Support coordination of collecting articles to be published on/in (social) media. Dealing with incoming telephone calls and information requests. Support with general administrative tasks, i.e analysing incoming correspondence and documentation and managing distribution of outgoing correspondence and documentation.Core Skills – Required + Preferred: A good sense of organisation Good command of English, especially written. Knowledge of another main European language is an asset. Interest and good understanding of the clients programmes and related activities. A developed sense for initiatives. Experience of working in an outreach and supporting the build–up of new collaboration opportunities.
