My story

　　This Ralph will break the internet!Hi guys! I am Ralphie and I am an 8 year old, 15 lb(just a few chunks to lose), male Chihuahua mix. I have the classic TAP fairytale story where I was rescued from the streets of TJ with a huge butt tumor, and I turned into a beautiful, healthy swan after radiation. I was found on the streets of Tijuana with a little blue leash around my neck and the handle of the leash in my mouth, just walking myself. Anyone who tried to take my leash away instantly became an enemy, but slowly I learned that I could perhaps trust people. I was taken to a vet in Tijuana after my rescuer discovered a giant tumor on my backside and the vet in Mexico suggested an end-of-life plan, and that's when TAP was asked to help. Now here I am! I will need rectal exams every 6 months to stay clean, but the likelihood of remission is slim to none after a year.Anyone will say that Ralphie is the sweetest guy! I will ask for pets on the regular and if you dare stop, I will do the most adorable hand motion to beg you for more. I do have my moods, fit for a prince, and if I am not up for cuddling, I will let you know. Luckily I do not have many teeth so my sassiness is not a true concern. Some might even call it endearing, just like grumpy ol' grampa! I am pretty dog friendly and great with kids too! But like any sassy sasserson, I do better with older, respectful kids.I have truly been through a lot and life has not been the kindest. But I am hopeful that my ordeal is over. I am hoping for the most loving home where my sassy ass is treated with kindness, respect and whole lotta love! I am ready to be a furver bestie! A mellow family would be perfect for me!
