Mya was surrendered by her owners to a Wyoming shelter, after being too mouthy and nippy as a puppy. We had similar experiences when she came into rescue and eblister the help of a local trainer to help with obedience and mouthiness. See video to see how well she does with commands and walks! We are guessing she was split from her mom too early and didn't get corrections most puppies do. While in foster care, Mya showed a quick ability to learn and has already learned to not nip but gives kisses now instead. We are recommending a home with children over 12 and no cats. Mya is a bit unsure how to interact with other dogs, so during her stay with the trainer she has learned some proper behavior around other dogs, but can still be dog selective (she is good with most but then finds one that isn't her cup of tea). She would thrive in a house with an alpha human personality that is willing to reinforce good behavior, as Mya is extremely eager to please her human. She should have very neutral and calm dogs in the house. Mya loves to go for walks, play with toys and has a knack for fetching a ball. She loves to run and is a very energetic pup. She would do well with a fenced back yard or someone who likes to go for a jog. Mya us spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Visit to learn about adoption. 4/5/18 12:37 PM
