Gideon's story

　　Gideon is a beautiful 8-year-old male black lab that is a big teddy bear at 124 lbs. Gideon is now on weight management food and regular exercise to shed some weight; so, he is looking for a family that will continue his weight management and regular exercise. He is very friendly and is good with other dogs and people, just not sure how he is with cats. When he came to DLRR, he was an outside dog that was not taken care of and was covered in ticks. Gideon has since had a spa day; dipped, bathed, nails trimmed and a good brushing. Gideon

　　is housebroken and has full run of the house when I am there and away, he is not destructive at all. He isn't a barker but will whine a little when you leave the house. Gideon walks good on a leash, rides in the car good and takes his treats gently. At first, Gideon wasn't sure if he was allowed to lay in the doggy beds at my house - now he Loves them! He'll make a great companion - He is just a Big Love Bug!
