My Gateshead-based client has an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with litigation experience. As one of the UK's largest retail groups in the motor industry which is consistently and rapidly expanding, part of this expansion has led to an increased demand in their in-house legal team, which consists of experienced and supportive legal practitioners who are keen to further develop the successful candidate.

The role will require candidates to work in my client's Gateshead office 3 days a week with the remaining 2 days working from home should the successful candidate wish to. Candidates interested in this role must therefore live within commutable distance of Gateshead, but if candidates possess exceptionally relevant experience it is possible that more hybrid/remote working will be possible.

This is a perfect opportunity for paralegals in the North East who can demonstrate some previous litigation experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and managing responses to alternative dispute resolution requests in addition to responses on escalated matters.

My client is prepared to offer a basic salary of up to GBP25,000 (depending on experience) along with an excellent range of wider benefits which can be made available on request.

Candidates who will be of particular interest to my client will be those who take a commercial approach to their work, in addition to having good organisational and interpersonal skills along with the ability to drill down into detail on matters to ensure thorough and detailed responses can be provided on matters.
