The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Veterinary Nurse to join our fantastic Hendon 24-Hour Hospital in North West London to join our friendly team. This position would suit a nurse that has experience working in a small animal practice and is now seeking a new challenge where they can develop their skillset. There will be plenty of support provided as they would work alongside our experienced night team The ideal candidate will offer the highest standards of clinical and client care and be willing to provide valuable peer support to patient care assistants.

The successful RVN will be eager to continue their nursing career within an Emergency and Critical Care role. The role will be 7 x 12 hours shifts and then 14 off.

No holiday entitlement due to the two weeks off and generous salary. day shifts will be available on the weeks off to supplement salary.

Training in the day time can be arranged before starting the night rotation.

Salary and benefits:

- Salary up to GBP36,000 per annum, depending on experience

- 7-on, 14-off rota / 20:00-08:00

Branch

Recognised as one of London's best Vet practices, you will be joining a highly experience team led by Branch Partners Jeremy and Sarah, plus a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse with 15 years experience, 10 other vets, a dedicated Imaging RVN, 5 other RVNs, 4 Student Nurses, 4 Patient Care Assistants and 5 Client Care Assistants!

It houses an MRI/CT unit and so treats many interesting neurology, medicine, surgical and other cases. Additionally, Hendon 24hr is equipped with endoscopy, arthroscopy, digital x-ray, MiLab X7 ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors, in-house bloods, dental radiology and much more! The group is also supported by its own pet blood bank, laboratory as well as other services. Hendon also has a spacious garden, seperate cat and dog wards, two dedicated staff rooms, a close link to the station as well as a friendly and sociable team who enjoy their team nights out.

It supports Medivet clinics in all of Northwest London but also the whole of Southern England, with interesting and complicated cases.
