Ziggy's story
Ziggy and Lizzy will not be ready to go until 8/17/2018 . The vet felt that they needed another week under care. New estimate of age is 7-weeks old this week - birthday put at 6/22/2018. They are still tiny puppies. Small children are not recommended at this time due to their frail statures. The vet believes they are sisters and younger than the other 8 puppies they were found with. Their grown size is unknown and their breed is totally a guess, but the vet estimates they will be medium sized dogs. They are coming along nicely and starting to enjoy exploring and playing with toys and each other. They really enjoy people and both loving taking naps on your lap.
Once upon a time, about a 3 ish-weeks ago, EAPL heard about 10 precious wee itty-bitty little ones. Six were just a few weeks old running in a backyard at temperatures no one should be out in much less a wee vulnerable puppies. We are not sure if they are related, we are definitely not sure of breed mix (just good ol' fashion mixed breed including the kitchen sink that we are sure of lol.) We placed them in the vet's care to hold them for us. Now they are all weaned, healthy, playful, rowdy little puppies. They are here now with EAPL! Put in an application today at and let's talk about cute puppies!
