Zappa's story

　　Talk about a rough life and then luckiest boy ever - If any cat deserves a wonderful new chapter - it's Zappa. He was originally part of a TNR - Trap/Neuter/Return program - even has his tipped ear as proof. But after being returned folks realized he was social, in terrible shape, but social. Thanks to a wonderful woman, who gives cats without much hope a chance at rescue, his infected flea bites were treated, he was given shelter, food and great care. He ended up with just Mohawk along his back from scratching at the bite and lost all his fur. Once he was healing, he moved here to Evergreen with us. Since then he has gained all of his confidence back; his fur now all grown back feels like silk, and he loves everyone. Chirps his delight when you enter his area. Coming to the EAPL Cat Adoption Center by 5/12, be sure to drop by and get greeted by Zappa. Ignore his left eye - we've had it looked at and been assured it's just an old wound that has completely healed. Gives him some character!!
