My story
Winnie is sweet, loyal, loving, and would make an amazing life-long friend. He is also an extremely quirky goofball who is looking for a home with an experienced, empathetic human parent and another friendly boy kitty to be his play and cuddle buddy. Winnie was originally a scared, stray cat in his foster mom’s neighborhood who showed up on her patio and befriended her dog. Over the course of a couple months after being brought inside, Winnie really opened up and became a loving, friendly companion. Winnie needs some time to develop trust with new people, then is extremely affectionate and loves cheek rubs and pets. He likes to cuddle up to and groom his very confused dog friend, and enjoys napping against his humans’ legs. He is very fond of his wand toys and roller ball, and loves napping in a high, sunny spot on his plushy cat bed. Winnie does love to chirp and chat with his human friends. Like many adult cats, Winnie does get urinary crystals, which is managed with a specific canned food. A home with hardwood floors and an extra litterbox would really expedite his litter box training. Winnie is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped.
Winnie is being cared for by a member of the community. To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, email us at [email protected].
