Waylon's story
Adoption fee on this dog is $300.
Waylon is a large handsome black and tan male weighing in at about 107 lbs. He is about 5-6 years old. He was an unclaimed stray from a local shelter so nothing is known about his background.
Waylon has gotten along with the large and small dogs he has met. He is generally content to hang with them, but on occasion will try to play. Given the choice, he would rather be with his people!
Waylon appears to be housebroken, rides nicely in the car, and is crate trained. He has also been very good staying in his bed when sleeping free at night. Waylon is easy to walk on leash. At this time, he is Not a speed walker. He is rather leisurely, and will end up waking behind you if you go too fast.
Even though Waylon is large, he is fairly easy to have in the house. He does want proper attention when you get home from work. If you don't give him quite enough, he will swat you with his large foot so you don't forget he is there.
Due to his large size, Waylon would do best in a home with children over the age of 10. He would like a home that will continue his socialization and training, as well as including him in daily family activities.
Cats and small critters unknown.
