My story
Kado is an energetic & healthy 4 yr old, 45 # Orange/White Roan neutered Brittany boy. He is utd on all his vaccines, microchipped, hw neg and on HW/FT Prevention.
He is great with other dogs. He needs a little work on the harness and with commands, but he does know his name. He is hyper-focused on balls and will play fetch non-stop if allowed. His foster home has been working with him about his obsessive barking for balls…he is hyper-focused but once he figures out that a ball is no longer attainable, he will stop barking for it. While playing with his favorite toy in life, he will return a ball back to you and point until it’s thrown again. He would be a perfect buddy for kids (or adults) to play with in the yard or a dog park.
Kado has never tried to jump over or dig underneath his foster’s 4.5-foot fence, but he does love to run around and explore. He likes water puddles & ponds but isn’t really a fan of swimming pools. He also does not enjoy being in a kennel. He has been crated during short drives, but overall crates/kennels are not his thing. Kado has never been a problem being left alone for a few hours at a time. He doesn’t seem to be interested in tearing things up or getting into things. He is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside with prancing/quick barks, or he can use a doggy door very well on his own.
Car trips seem strenuous for Kado. He hasn’t had the best experiences in a vehicle, always ending up at the vet or a new foster home. He is very vocal and has a hard time sitting still. His foster mom has been working with him on quick trips to parks, etc. in an effort to help calm his anxiety of being in a vehicle.
He is good with children. Up to this point, he hasn’t had contact with cats but he will chase squirrels so it should be assumed that he has the fairly high prey drive of this particular breed. Small dogs are not a problem.
At bedtime, Kado is a true snuggler. He best wish is to be in the bed & under the blankets, he might even share the pillow with you. Kado has been an excellent foster dog and will make a great addition to his forever family.

The adoption fee to adopt Kado Bullard, TX is $375 to offset his vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful pets in need.
I would keep his transportation to a one-day transport, with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt TX/Kado (MO), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
