　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're an all-volunteer group and need advance notice to schedule appointments. We cannot accept same-day appointments. To adopt, we need to receive a completed application (link found below). Some animals may be in foster homes. Before choosing a pet, we recommend meeting the pet or asking questions first. She's a tiny little female Tuxedo kitten at just 7 weeks of age! She's very young, but uses a litter box just fine (it's a natural compulsion). Minna is a friendly, sociable girl. She interacts well with other cats. Since she's so tiny, she shouldn't be a pet for small children. She only needs to be handled gently. She'll need a home where she'll have enough time with her family that she'll have adequate supervision. Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on first round vaccinations. Her next and final round for the year (which includes her Rabies vaccination) is due three weeks after the previous round. Due to being underage for a spay/neuter surgery, adoption requires an additional refundable spay/neuter deposit to reinforce state requirements for all adopted pets to be fixed by age of maturity. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters.
