My story

　　Hi my name is Turtle and I am good at helping other dogs be more confident. My sibling is very shy when they meet new people, but bring me into the room and I help them come out of their shell. I am very friendly and excitable, I love to jump around in my kennel (I would need a tall fence) and sometimes I have so much energy I don’t know what to do with myself. I would love a home where there are other dogs that I could play with.  I do well in a group environment, I’m just the right amount of friendly: not too  pushy and not too shy. I am looking for a forever home where I can be loved and have my energy and exercise needs met.

　　All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. 

　　Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt. 

　　If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment.
