My story
Trixie was born on August 12, 2011. She is a quiet, sweet girl who is a bit shy at first then warms up for pets and cuddles in your lap. When you are really friends, she'll put her front paws around your neck to give you hugs! Trixie started her life as a stray and was trapped for spaying, that's why her ear is tipped. She has been indoors since and says the outside life isn't for her! She likes the comfort of a soft bed, people to pet her, and looking out windows. She'll do best in a quiet home without children or dogs. She will take some time to get to know her new home. She is scared at first and needs to feel safe in her new environment. She has been adopted out several times and returned. Recently we discovered that she had some bad teeth so has had dental work. We really need someone willing to be patient and give her time to get used to her new environment.Trixie is motivated by treats, wet food, and soft spoken words. She is super sweet, mellow, and likes to hang out with humans and nice cats. She enjoys being petted and sitting in laps once she feels comfortable. She will sleep next to you if you let her. Please see her video - it shows her cuteness! Our vet says she's a little chunky so some diet restriction is recommended in her new home along with providing a supplement of lysine.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Trixie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
