My story

　　**PAWSPICE ADOPTION**Treble is a 13-year-old and 8 pound cat who is looking for her forever home. Once Treble gets a few pets she turns into a roly poly and rolls all around the floor happily as can be! With her loving personality, Treble has quite the fan following. This sweet girl will surely melt your heart. Her adoption fee was fully sponsored by The Joe Willie Initiatives.Treble regularly uses her litter box but is experiencing chronic GI issues (diarrhea). Diagnostics have not been able to identify the condition's cause, so we are hoping to place her in a loving home with support through our Pawspice program.The Sacramento SPCA Pawspice Program places animals who have been diagnosed with a terminal medical condition but still have a high quality of life in loving homes until it is their time to cross the rainbow bridge. Once in their adoptive home, Pawspice animals will continue to receive palliative medical support for their diagnosed condition from the Sacramento SPCA in order to keep them comfortable. All routine vet care, vet care for unrelated illness/injury, and/or further diagnostics or treatment is the responsibility of their adopter(s). ** Something special about Treble: She is FIV positive. FIV positive kitties can live normal happy lives provided they are indoor only, receive regular vet checkups and proper introductions to any potential feline friends. **If you are interested in this specific animal, please come to the shelter for walk-in adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm.
