My story

　　Travis is a 1.5 year old Boston Terrier that weighs about 22lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and on heart worm prevention.

　　Introducing Travis! Travis was found as a stray on the rural roads of Eastern Arkansas. While in rescue care, he had a cherry eye repair. He has a benign condition called lagophthalmos, which is the inability to completely close the eyelid, so he has some corrneal scarring from that and can occasionally get dry eyes. This doesnt affect his vision whatsoever, but he benefits from a few drops of artificil tears when his eyes get dry. You can purchase a bottle of those for around $3. Travis does have some mild hearing loss. 

　　Travis has been exposed to kids of all ages, from a 3-year-old to a teenager. He was very sweet and gentle to the 3-year-old and was sure to use “soft paws” with her.  He is good with other dogs and currently lives with two Boston foster sisters.  He quickly picked up on their individual personalities and knows that one likes to tussle and play hard while the other one is more chill and prefers to hang out together and share a big chew toy. He does great with both of them. Travis has only seen one cat, and it was through a window.  He tilted his head and the cat then walked off.    

　　Travis is crate trained, house trained, doggy door trained, and knows to go to the back door if his doggy door is blocked.  He is fine sleeping in his crate, on his bed, or in our bed.  He is a big cuddler but when it comes to actually sleeping time, her prefers to sleep laying near his human but not necessarily touching them.   

　　He hasn’t shown any toy, food, or people aggression and just seems to be a happy dog that goes with the flow, either a house with dogs or just him and his humans.  I think he would be content either way. He has short bursts of play but then is cool just chilling.  The only barking we’ve heard is playful yips during play time.    

　　Travis is the total package and will make whoever adopts him very happy! He is just the sweetest, most well-behaved boy. What more could anyone want?!
