My story
Waiting for my Dorothy to swoop me up before this tornado does...Why hello there, hooman! My name is Toto. I am a 1-year-old, neutered male, Schnauzer Mix weighing around 20 lbs. I am here because The Animal Pad rescued me from Tijuana from a hoarding house
I am about 50% house/bathroom/leash trained… so still working on that! I had one eye removed and now struggle with depth perception on the other. Because of my horrible past, I am dealing with severe anxiety. But love and care has helped me so much and I am ready to get better!Let’s share a little bit about me! I have high energy and anxiety when it comes to other animals or separation from my foster hooman and sibling. I am doggo selective, but I’ve done well with my foster sibling. We could perhaps try slow introductions? I haven’t had any cat interactions yet so not sure. For little hoomans it depends on them and the anxiety level. I love playing with you and toys, chewing on bones, eating, and attention! My perfect furever home would be one with understanding and patience! My foster thinks I need to be in an adult only home with full attention on me most of the time. This will help me learn how to trust and feel comfortable. I get very jealous of other animals and hoomans at the moment since I am not used to all this love. A yard to run my little heart out would be nice. My adoption fee is $450 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/##1105668##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Toto, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
