My story

　　Tom is a 1 year old and 8 pound cat who is looking for his forever home. Tom is a very outgoing and affectionate cat. He will happily climb into your lap or up onto your shoulder, headbutting you and kneading and purring. His past home said he loved being carried around the house and giving kisses with his nose. They also think he would do well in a home with another young cat/kitten to play with. I don't have a history with dogs, but may do well with them with a slow introduction.I lived with cats in my previous home, but I may be selective!I don't have a history with kids, but I might do well with them!Adoption Process: At 9:00 am each morning a link will go live at sspca.org/dogs above where you can schedule an appointment to come down to the shelter that day to meet an available animal. Animals pictured on this page may be adopted prior to your appointment time. Shelter staff will let you know when you arrive what animals are still available to be adopted and any special considerations the animal might have. Only two animals may be met with per family, per day. Once you have finished a counsel and a meet-and-greet, you will be able to adopt!
