Tabby - Orange - Curly - Medium - Baby - Male - Cat
The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're an all-volunteer group and need advance notice to schedule appointments. We cannot accept same-day appointments. To adopt, we need to receive a completed application for review (online application found at ). Some animals may be in foster homes. For information on a specific animal, please visit our adoption center or email us at [email removed]! This sweet little fluffball is Curly, a medium-haired orange and white tabby, mostly white with an orange "jacket" pattern. He's just a baby at only 12 weeks old (as of 11/5/13). Curly can be bashful at first meeting, but only then. He loves attention! Curly is aptly named, because he loves nothing more than to curl up beside or in the lap of a new buddy. He's an absolute sweetheart. Curly does great with other kittens. His energy level isn't too high, so he may do well with a friendly adult cat or two (high-energy kittens can make adult cats pretty nervous). Curly doesn't mind being held and snuggled with. Curly needs a good bit of supervision and bonding time in his young age, so he is not suitable for a home where he's left alone most of the day. He should do well with older kids who can handle him gently, maybe ages 7 and up. We do not recommend Curly in a home with dogs - he isn't a fan of big or little dogs. Visit our cat adoption center or contact us to meet Curly and more adoptable cats and kittens! Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on FVRCP vaccinations. Curly will require his Rabies + FeLK vaccination three weeks after the previous vaccinations. Due to being underage for a spay/neuter surgery, adoption requires an additional refundable spay/neuter deposit to reinforce state requirements for all adopted pets to be fixed by age of maturity. Read our adoption process at /howtoadopt.html for more information. Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Visit to read our adoption process and fill out an online application.
