Stephie's story

　　Stephie was a baby having babies when we took her in. A wonderful girl called us when she saw a situation getting out of hand. Someone she knew was not fixing their cats so she took it upon her self to take responsibility. By the time she was done, she had not only helped get 10 adult cats fixed but helped us find homes for the 6 kittens born, as well as spaying a dog and getting homes for her 8 puppies! Thank goodness she was nice and smart enough to help! Stephie had given birth to 3 kittens and was trying to keep them safe in some old tires but unfortunately one got caught in the tires and did not make it very long. We took in the other 2, Julian and Jada (also up for adoption) and Stephie and got them all fixed up. (Spayed/neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea treated, wormed and tested for feline leukemia and FIV (all negative)).Poor Stephie never got to have much of a chance to be a kitten, getting pregnant at about 6 months old, so now it is her time to have some fun too!
