Stephanie is a stunning 3 year old, 125lb. Great Dane girl who was rescued from the shelter here in Bakersfield with her 6 pups, and several of her buddies from a breeder that got busted.
She is very sweet, and when she first was pulled from the shelter became EXTREMELY sick with pneumonia.
We spent over $3500 getting her well, and it was totally worth it!
We also found (once she had cleared her pneumonia) that she had been shot, and has a buckshot in her chest)!
So this girl had really be through the ringer prior to her ending up with us....
She is now a big, happy, dopey girl, ready to take on the world and find her forever home, where she will never be used as a puppy machine again!
She loves people and her favorite thing to do is rest her head in your lap.
But don't let her fool you, her second favorite thing is to run zoomies through the yard and hot laps are her favorite thing to do!
She is housebroken and also knows how to use a dog door.
She would be fine in a home with another dane ideally, but probably no cats or small dogs.
She's fine with the animals here at the rescue (chickens, pigs, cats, etc) on a leash, and has no interest chasing them, but ideally a home with dogs her size would be best.
Stephanie is up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped.
