"Hello, I'm Stella! I'm a very friendly and waggy girl, about 2 years old, full grown at 49 lbs. I have a pretty multi-color coat with lots of little spots and a large brown eye spot. My foster people says this makes me extra beautiful! I was rescued from Gallup, NM, and I am looking for my forever family here in Colorado (I'm being fostered in Longmont, CO). I am living with four other medium-sized adult dogs and I get along fine with them, but I don't know how I'd respond to living with a cat.
"I only knew living outside before, and my previous owners didn't teach me much, so I'm still learning "how to dog" with my basic commands like "sit" and "down," but I'm already crate trained and I walk nicely on a leash. I really love belly rubs and chest scratches, and I'll gladly roll over so you can give them to me! Sometimes I like to chase a tennis ball but I haven't figured out yet that I'm supposed to bring it back. Will you be my new person to love me and care for me forever?"

If you would like to meet Stella to see if she's the perfect dog for you or your family, please fill out an application at rezdawgrescue.org. RezDawg Rescue's adoption fees cover transport from a reservation or high-intake shelter in NM or AZ, vaccinations, deworming, food, alteration, any needed medical treatments, and microchipping for identification. We foster our animals in homes around Colorado instead of one central facility, so your adoption payment goes further toward helping more animals find safe homes filled with love.
