Star - Needs a medical foster located in CO's story

　　Star is a hound mix female, recently spayed and about 2 years old. Currently, she is about 40 lbs and full grown. This little girl came up from Texas, she hitched a ride with a good samaritan after spending 3 weeks running around a truck stop. Star is energetic, but will snuggle in a heartbeat. She has a great temperament, gets along with other cats and dogs, so far. She is staying with an elderly lady that has recently found out that she is having memory issues, so she cannot continue to house Star while we search for a new forever home. Currently, she is undergoing heartworm treatments. Those start in February. We would love to find someone who will continue her treatments at Animal Care Center of Castle Pines so she can remain in their care.
