Sophie goes with Shay BONDED PAIR pull when adopte's story
Sophie and Shay on New Years Day, these little girls were surrendered to the EAPL from the only home they have ever known. To say the girls were frightened is an understatement. It took a week of hand feeding, dog appeasing pheromone collars, and patience to get them out of their shells. They are now showing their true bright colors. Little Sophie and Shay, are a bonded pair and may only be adopted together.
Shay is a Mini Pin mix of sorts. She is cinnamon colored and shall we say a little chunky. We have consulted a veterinarian to come up with a weight loss plan for her. Shay is only 2 years and 2 months old. Shay weighs 8.8 lbs currently. Her diet plan has been very successful in the 6 weeks she has been in foster care. Eventually, she will have a lean body to match her sweet little head. Her little tail is docked. Shay is sweet and funny, making anyone around her laugh at her antics. Now, she is a lap dog who thrives on and demands attention. She is housebroken, but her signals are vague as she just goes near the door and looks at you. She is a great sister to Sophie. Shay does have a fear of men and it takes slightly longer for her to warm up to men. Her foster Dad has worked daily with her to overcome her fears. He now holds and cuddles her and she splits her nights cuddling between her fosters.
Sophie is a gorgeous 1 year old Chihuahua. She is brown with white on her chest and the tips of her dainty little paws. Sophie has a lean gracile body and weighs in at 7.3 lbs. Her face is paws-a-tively stunning as she still has a bit of puppy there with wide soulful brown eyes and thick black whiskers. Sophie took quite a while to come out of her shell. Sophie hides when she is unsure or frightened. She spends as much time as possible attached to her foster parents, they call her the Velcro dog. She is loving and sweet and loves to give kisses and full body hugs. Sophie is housebroken and goes out when she needs to with the other dogs, but as of yet, she has not asked to go out on her own.
These dogs come fully equipped! The have a large playpen, beds which look like huts, leashes, collars, harnesses, coats, Halloween costumes, food, and blankets. They only need bowls of their own. Shays diet plan will be explained in detail to continue on her weight loss journey. Both of these little dogs need patience, acceptance and love. Do you have a home that needs 2 little bundles of love? Can you be the home that helps to heal their hearts and bring out the happy little personalities of these two? Please help us succeed to make their dreams come true. V ideo https://youtu.be/eItXbrGGvjQ Put in an application at
