　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're an all-volunteer group and need advance notice to schedule appointments. We cannot accept same-day appointments. To adopt, we need to receive a completed application (link found below). Without the stripes, blue would look like a Russian Blue! She is approximately 3 years old, just on the younger side of adulthood. Due to being declawed, we prefer a forever home for Blue without dogs or children under the age of 5, since she has no line of defense and can't protect herself or set boundaries. Blue is a very sociable, friendly girl who is used to being in a quiet home environment with lots of love, and is looking for the same in a new home. Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and spayed. Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses.
