So here is the story regarding my instruments....
The instruments are not pre-owned. They have never been sold to a consumer.
They are each hand selected instruments that are offered for sale from the refurbisher?s inventory of over 3000 quality instruments. They are each tested to ensure that all of the components work properly.
When I offer an instrument for sale, I will include information on any visible repairs and provide photos (JUST ASK).
The refurbisher that we work with purchases instruments directly from the manufacturer.
These instruments for some reason did not pass the manufacturers quality control. Generally these instruments have minor finish imperfections, minor damage that occurred during manufacture, or minor issues with electronics or hardware.
The refurbisher uses an extensive inspection process as part of their restoration process to ensure all issues are identified and corrected. I also inspect and test the electronics on all of our inventory before offering them for sale. Through this process I know that the instruments I offer have been thoroughly inspected even than their ?new? counterparts. My personal reputation is on the line with every instrument I sell and I want to be sure that I offer only the best instruments.
So, here is the deal with the ?USED? stamp on he back of the headstock......
During the restoration process the instrument is stamped ?used? in small letters on the back of the headstock. At the same time, the original serial number was removed and replaced with a serial number assigned by the refurbisher.
This is done to prevent warranty claims as these instruments are offered without the manufacturer's "Limited Warranty".
I will carefully pack the instrument. I will first prep the instrument for shipment by loosening the strings to reduce stress on the neck during shipping. The instrument will then be packed carefully into a shipping box with additional padding for greater protection.
If there is a problem with your order please contact me right away - I will do everything possible to assure your complete satisfaction - I have 100% positive feedback and I want to keep it that way
