My story

　　Hi! I’m Shasta! I was rescued off the streets when I showed up one day at a feral feeding station.

　　I gave birth to kittens in a storm drain before I could be caught but sadly, they all disappeared.

　　Luckily, I was able to be trapped and taken off the streets but not before I got pregnant again.

　　This time I was able to give birth safely in my foster home to two health girls (Whitney & Denali).

　　I was a great mom, but now I am ready to find my forever home of my own.

　　I love human attention and I do well with the big dogs in my foster home too.

　　I love to get pet, however if you try to walk away before I am done, I tend to reach out to grab you to come back.

　　Sometimes I can accidentally scratch in my eagerness for pets so I should probably not go to a home with small children.

　　Occasionally, I like to jump from my scratching post to ride on the top of your shoulders for a ride even if you are not paying attention.

　　I try my best not to hurt you when I jump on but it can be shocking if you are not prepared for a passenger.

　　I am a very sweet girl who just wants to be loved.

　　I love running up and down the halls and playing with my toys especially ones filled with catnip.

　　Even though I was a mom, I am still very young and playful. The vet thinks I am probably less than 2 years old.

　　I am spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and I tested Felv/FIV negative.
