My story

　　Seamus is a one-year-old, fun loving, blond shepherd mix who just loves life! He’s super smart, loves being with his people, and is a big, joyful, playful puppy! In order to set Seamus up for success, he has attended a month-long training program in-house at the wonderful, award-winning K9 Activity Center in Santa Rosa; here, he has been learning dog manners, and, also, being a good boy on leash, as well as obedience training. He’s still a big, goofy boy, but has done extremely well in his training classes and is ready to be the bestest boy for his new family! With further training, Seamus could apply for his Good Canine Citizen (GCC) certification and ongoing at home training would be a good idea as he’s 90lbs now and still growing!

　　Seamus plays well with dogs his own size and has been participating in the playgroups at the K9 Activity Club with a group of similar size dogs. He tries to play with the elderly, smaller dogs in his foster home but he’s too big and goofy with them, so would be better off with dogs his own size or as the only dog in the home. He is very loving, loyal, and cuddly – his people are the most important thing to him.
