My story

　　Scootin’ my way to your heartHewo hooman! My name is Scooter. I am a 1-year-old, male, Boxer Mix weighing around 20 lbs. I am here because The Animal Pad rescued me from Tijuana. They found me after being hit by a car. I am paraplegic so I wear a diaper when I am not hanging I my crate. I do not need my bladder expressed and I’m able to go to the bathroom and do both my businesses on my own. I have a set of wheels that I use to get around since my back legs don’t work. I will start physical therapy soon. Currently I am on meds twice a day and getting nourished with about 1.25 cups of kibble, separated out 5 times a day. My bathroom and leash training is in the works as I get better, and I am great in the crate.Let’s share a little bit about me! I am very calm and loving. I get excited to be with hoomans. My foster says, “He is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met, especially after going through so much already. He deserves someone who will love him and be able to take care of his special needs. His is the most loyal and loving dog and loves to cuddle.” I am doggo friendly, I haven’t been around many yet but the ones I have, I love hanging out with

　　I don’t know how I would be around cats since I haven’t met one yet. I’ve only seen one little hooman and I was friendly with them! I love to run in my wheelchair, cuddle, and give kisses!My perfect furever home would be one with lots of love and someone who can be home with me. I am fine in a crate for a few hours but currently need to be fed 4-5 times a day and need company. Of course, my adopter has to be as cool and rockin' as I am in my fancy wheelz.
