Scooby 28716's story
PAHS has special discounted adoption fees for senior adopters (60 years old or older). We also are doing the 'Better with a Buddy' adoptions with our cats and kittens. You may adopt 2 cats or kittens for the adoption fee of one which is $50.
Scooby is a 4-month-old male German Shepherd mix who must be neutered before he is adopted. He is black with brown markings and has an unusually short tail to be a GSD. Scooby weighs 32 pounds and we believe he will be a medium sized adult dog. He is an owner turn in because his owners did not have room to keep him. Scooby came to the shelter with his mother, Baby, and he is very devoted to her. He is good with other dogs and children. Scooby is a big puppy who needs someone to spend a lot of time with him to leash train him. He is a smart guy who is willing to please. He just needs direction, training, and patience. If you are interested in giving Scooby a great start on his new life as a treasured family member please come out and meet him soon.
Dogs and puppies may be adopted for a fee of $120. All cats and kittens may be adopted for $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
