Sasha's story
What happens to a little lady with no life experiences and no confidence when she is taken to a high kill shelter? She crumbles and is terrified there. Sasha almost died in that big, scary shelter in that big, scary city. We learned of Sasha and had to help her. She had to go to boarding to save her, however, and there she was still darn scared. She had no aggression at all but also no confidence. But one of the workers at the kennel caused her to wildly jump for joy. She might have been a man's dog in the past? Sadly, though he wanted to, the kennel worker was not able to adopt her. Now in CO, Sasha is proving to be a great girl. She uses the dog door, is housebroken and has great house manners. She will retrieve and loves her bones in her Fort Collins foster home. Her leash manners are great too...no pulling! Her confidence has greatly increased with humans and she really could use a playful companion as her two boy dog housemates are 8 yrs and more sedate than she is. She wants to play! Cats are unknown. For more information contact Lisa at [email protected]. Adoption $250. If interested in this dog, please go to and submit an application for adoption. Under Adoptions, please read our adoption policy. We must have an application before we can begin the adoption process and each dog does have foster contact listed.
