My story

　　Hello out there I would like to introduce myself, my rescue name is Sarasota but my foster dad calls me Olive Oyl (because my foster brother is Popeye).  Sometimes I am a little shy and it takes me time to get used to new people but I do love having a person to love.  I will stick right with you and snuggle with you at night.  If you want to meet me the best thing to do is to come down to the adoption event at Wags & Whiskers Pet Rescue every Saturday from 11 to 3 .  Or you can make an appointment with my foster daddy.  Hope to hear from you soon.

　　All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. 

　　Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt. 

　　If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment.
